Mary Vradelis has 30 years of experience in nonprofit leadership; capacity-building; and training. She draws on her experience as Executive Director of two organizations, and as a Board Member of several others. As a Principal Consultant for Sequoia Consulting Associates, she guides organizations, teams, and individuals through transitions, both planned and unexpected. As an Interim Executive Director, she has led over a dozen organization, where she provided the stability and flexibility that is needed during a leadership transition. These short-term commitments provided leadership, coaching, assessment, and support as they searched for a permanent E.D. She also provided transition coaching to support a leadership change or the Board’s search for an E.D.

Nationally, she has also served in leadership roles for the Executive Transition and Leadership Continuity of the Alliance for Nonprofit Management and the international Academy of Management’s Management Consulting Division. She has an MBA from St. Mary’s College and a Masters in Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University. Her publications include Strategy Making for Non-Profit Organizations: A Model and Case Studies and Listening and Engaging Responsibility (a chapter in Beyond the Bottom Line: Integrating Sustainability into Business and Management Practice) both written with Dr. Jyoti Bachani.
